David Peterson - Band Manager / Lead Guitar / Vocals

I began my music career at a young age. At seven years old I began taking piano lessons and have continued learning all types of music. The piano background has enabled me to easily adapt to many instruments. I was introduced to old time music and was infected with the bluegrass bug. I try to learn from each person I play with and do my best to accompany them to make the music sound as good as possible. I have been having fun entertaining people with corny jokes and bluegrass songs I’ve written over the past decade and I look forward to even bigger things to come. - David

I became interested in bluegrass during the folk revival period of the early sixties. As a young man, my relatives introduced me to banjo and guitar. I and my brother Joe began playing together in high school. I played banjo and Joe backed me up on guitar. I played banjo sporadically until about 1986 when I decided to put serious effort into it. I have an extensive family in which several people are accomplished musicians. I learned to sing harmony by singing with my other family members. I have lots of fun whether on stage or just jamming with good friends. - Tom

I’ve been asked to write a few words about my musical background. Well, then, here are just a few words...horsefeathers,cauliflower, and, lets see, encyclopedia! You see, at this point in time, music is kind of a right-brain thing for me, and it’s hard to nail down on paper. I was born into a musical family, and, so, always had an instrument of one sort or another in my hand, but it was never serious stuff, always just for fun. I haven’t changed much in that regard. I still love making neat noises, finding that juicy harmony, and I love it when the group hits that “gel point” when it all comes together. Joe

When I was a little boy in school I didn’t even like music. Then when I turned the age of sixteen, I discovered bluegrass. People used to hold country barn dances and I would attend. There was a guy at one of the dances that could really play the fiddle and it impressed me so much that I had to learn. Once I heard that fiddle I was hooked and I have been a slave to the seductive mistress of bluegrass ever since. Bluegrass is good wholesome family entertainment and I enjoy making music. Remember, only bad people don’t like bluegrass! - Fred

Walt Jacobson - Bass / Vocals

I am known by most of his friends and acquaintances as Walt and I studied piano as a youth in San Pedro, California where my mother was a concert violinist. I advanced to the Double Bass in Junior High School, and continued playing the bass for the remainder of my school career. I have embarked on a fun-filled new musical career with the hope that my contribution to bluegrass music will be as much a joy to hear as it is to perform. - Walt

I’ve been singing since I was a little girl. I played the violin for ten years and I was in the school choir. I was chosen out of 800 students in the 9th grade to play 8th seat in a symphony where I was recorded on a record. I started writing poetry in grade school and continued all through high school. I continue to write and sing because it soothes my soul. I am truly happiest in life when I can bring a smile to a face and soothe another soul. I got into bluegrass because I like to stomp my feet and share a good time with others. - Diana (A.K.A. Angel)
